California Sea Lions in San Francisco
According to the Pier 39 website http://www.pier39.com/home/the-sea-lion-story/ the sea lions at Pier 39, moved into K-Dock, after an earthquake in October of 1989. Within a couple of months, they had made themselves as home, and invited their relatives to join the neighborhood. After much consideration, by those in the know, it was decided to leave the sea lions to their new home – a great decision, in my humble opinion.
I cannot now imagine a trip to the wharf, in San Francisco, without stopping by to at least say hello to the noisy and joyful animals, who rarely seem disturbed by the humans deeply engaged in watching them.
Do you think it could be a mother and baby?
They seem so at peace.
“There is nothing to see her folks.”
He may be lost.
