Bromeliads in the Everglades
Driving through the Everglades, a field of greens and blues, you occasionally spot splashes of red, purple and yellow, clinging to the trees.
While not as beautiful as many of spices in our gardens, it is impossible to not be drawn to these air plants.
They are of course protected, as are all plants in National Parks
Have you ever seen such tree trunk! Perhaps this is why the bromeliads chose to live on top it.
