Dandelion
Walking through Toronto, I happened upon patches of Dandelion’s. I instantly thought of my Mother who used to harvest the weed, to eat them – they are good for your liver, she would say.
They do call out summer is here!
I started snapping pictures, of the pretty yellow flowers, remembering how pleased she would be to receive a bouquet of dandelions, and of the silvery white balls (the same plant ready to seed), which we would pick as children and blown on, scattering her seeds to the winds.
A thistle!
