Bromeliads in Bloom!
I know, it looks like an ordinary plant.
But when burst forward . . . oh my!
This is why we keep bromeliads.
Such striking color!
All they require is water in their crowns, truly.
A favorite in my garden and home.

To read the story of how my parents met and began their ministry:
“There came a time when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”
“I know of only one duty, and that is to love.”
“If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am not for others, what am I? And if not now, when?”
