In the Garden

Summer Sunflowers

Summer sunflowers instantly bring warmth and a smile to your soul.  There is an amazing variety of color, heights, and blooms; all of which are easy to plant, simply drop the seeds in about three inches of soil, water, and let grow!  Remember that after the flower has bloomed, if you let it dry, that amazing head will produce tons of seeds which can be roasted and eaten, or saved for your next harvest.  Enjoy this picture essay, of mostly Maine sunflowers.
