Though I am not normally an overly enthusiastic fan of Pop art, this large enamel on linen canvas drew me in, and made me smile. In honor of Father’s Day, I offer you a familiar face; Homer, a father who so often stumbles in his efforts, before finally arriving where he should. Painted by American artist Joyce Pensato in 2007.
