In the Wild!

The Monarch Butterfly and Autumn Joy

Autumn Joy is a perennial which faithfully shows yearly; and produces a very pleasant purple flower, which will last through a good portion of the autumn. The problem with the plant is that when it begins to bloom, I know summer is over.

Thus I have a bit of a love hate relationship with Autumn Joy; but that changed when I saw this monarch butterfly feasting.

I have felt a little guilty about bringing in my plants, as I was able to witness, so many In the Wild enjoying the flowering plants. But spotting this butterfly reminded me that nature adapts and does take care of itself!

Autumn is here, make it joyful!
