A Giant Alligator, Orange, and a Few Peafowls in the Distance
So the large orange caught our eye; one of those silly roadside attractions that I find hard to resist.
After pulling in to snap a few pictures, we got back in the car, and found ourselves drawn to this crazy alligator, just down the street. The alligator’s purpose seemed to be to make people pull over, and take their picture with him – though given his condition, I am guess it has been a few years since his image was much in demand.
Walking around the giant gator, I was surprised to find that a few peafowls had taken up home in the area. They were a bit shy, but it was one of those moments of whimsy which keep me heading out, to see what the road yet has to share with me, and you.
