A Thank You to Kate
Kate has her own collection of letters from Mother; as a way of extending my Happy Birthday Wishes to Kate, today, I share this note with her and you. It was in an envelope along with several emails sent to Mother from Pastor Jonathan Eric Mudenyo, in Kenya, and Pastor Kakooza Bruce Timothy, from Uganda, whom she had met in Amsterdam, the notes deal with her upcoming trip to Africa to minister.
“Pardon the paper – my date to go is Nov. 15 from Logan Friday 5 pm
Hi Jill,
I am waiting for Kate, she said 5 pm it’s about ten after, she told Caroline that she couldn’t stay to eat, but I was at the store getting meat so it’s ready to eat, meat, carrots & potatoes, also Roll-aids.
I haven’t really had a chance to talk to Kate, but I want her to know how grateful I am for the computer without it I would not be going to Kenya, and I want to thank both of you for all of the food, I will have food all winter. I would to pay your for it.
Changing the subject, the pastor would like me to through Christmas I would like to, but if I do I can’t get a flight till Jan 17th and the ticket will cost more, $400 – $500 so help me pray about this, I have to use wisdom.
Well I guess that you know how much I miss you so I will be down but afterwards. Pray for Bro. Becerra, I want to see him before he dies.
Well I’ll close, it was nice, not its 5 & cold the sun is gone. Listen don’t worry about the suit . . . hurry up with the e-mail – I’ll mostly contact you at late night.
Love,
Mother”
