The Colors of Autumn
I must admit that when autumn’s colors first begin to appear, a sense of trepidation, can overwhelm me; it is not that I do not love and look forward to the brilliant array of colors which are about to burst forth, but rather that I cannot help but be aware that the oranges, reds, yellows, and pinks will give way to naked trees and carpets of snow.
However, at least for the moment, I shall enjoy the beauty of fall, and not think about winter.
After all, how can one not completely appreciate these golden hues?
In so many ways autumn teaches us to appreciate the moment, and to understand how very little control we have over time.
