It is that time of year! Once again, The Smithsonian is offering you free Admission to a museum, with hundreds of locations to choose from! I love this opportunity, and have taken advantage of it for years; it is a great way to expand your horizons without a single risk.
Unfortunately, once again, Smithsonian’s free museum day falls on the same day as National Public Lands Day, which is celebrated, by the National Parks, by offering us free admission to all parks – thus you will either have to be very clever in your planning, to enjoy both a park and a museum or you will have to choose where you most want to spend the day.
