A Corporate Garden
How would you like to eat lunch here Monday thru Friday? Recently, I found myself in a large corporate complex, with a few free minutes that turned into a very relaxing walk. Originally, I had spied the sculpture, which looks like a flock of birds taking off or landing, depending on your perspective, and had wanted to take a closer look.
The stone and gravel paths drew me in, as I set out to explore the incredibly well laid out and maintained garden that literally offered the Monday thru Friday occupants, of the buildings around it, a perfectly tranquil place, to enjoy a true breath of fresh air; which by the looks of those strolling through the garden or sitting to enjoy a cup of coffee was not lost on the souls for whose pleasure it was created.
I love that so many of the plants are identified.
I also love the addition of this whimsical sculpture, of a man in corporate America, briefcase in tow, throwing a Frisbee to a dog!

A few creatures also hang out.
Can you see the tiny spider?
Water features enrich any garden, and having places to sit near the water, provide those enjoying the garden, with a great way to get away, at least for an hour, from the noise of the office.
I always want color, in the garden.
And more color still!
