Plymouth Rock
~M~
As the United States gets ready to celebrate Thanksgiving, I offer you A View From the Road, of Plymouth Rock. I have previously written about my first trip there, as a child, and having taken two of my oldest nieces, along with a return trip for my Mother, to view this enshrined rock with a history, which may be considered a bit messy; but that symbolizes the first steps of the Pilgrims, who had traveled on the Mayflower, from England, to make a new home in the United States, and who have given us this wonderful day of giving thanks for our many blessings.
Whether or not you are celebrating a traditional American Thanksgiving with turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce, I hope you are able to step away from the hectic cares of what has become our life, and stop and give thanks.
