At the train station, in Selma, North Carolina, I stepped out onto the empty platform and was immediately drawn to the perfectly crossed tracks – literally. I do not remember previously having seen train tracks intersect in such a manner. As I stared at the tracks intently, I could not help but notice the free standing mailbox, gracious – the red flag is up!
