Art in Steel
An awe inspiring View from the Road! Leaving the Columbus Museum of Art, I happened upon ART, a bold hundred foot tall sculpture, which quite literally forced me to pull over; as I attempted to take in the wonder which thirty-one tons of steel can create. The sculpture is owned by the Columbus College of Art and Design, in Columbus, Ohio. Created by Doris Shlayn in 1999, and installed at its present location in June of 2001. The mammoth work, in down town Columbus, straddles the street. It is located at 483 E. Gay St., Columbus, OH
