Monkey See Monkey Do
Today, as I was leaving the Bonnet House Museum and Garden, http://www.bonnethouse.org/ , a visit to which I highly recommend, if you are ever in the Fort Lauderdale area, I happened upon her most prized inhabitants, in my opinion, the squirrel monkeys!
Several months ago, Kate and I visited the Bonnet House, and according to our tour guide, were fortunate to see the lovely little monkeys which happily live on the grounds, freely roaming from tree to tree; unfortunately, I later learned that my camera was not working, and all of the marvelous pictures did not turn out.
Thus I was thrilled, this afternoon, to find several very joyful and playful monkeys’ enjoying a snack and frolicking in the trees. I could not believe how close they allowed me to come to them, it was wonderful to be able to watch them interacting with each other, and enjoying the perfect afternoon.
