Perfect Steaks

I love the taste of grilled meats — everything from hot dogs and hamburgers to lamb chops and steak!

 

Ingredients:

Four 12 to 16 ounce New York Strip Steaks

1 Cup of Honey

1 Bottle of Beer

Garlic Powder

Salt and Pepper

 

Directions:

Wash steaks and pat dry. Place them in a 13×9 baking pan, and pour a bottle of beer over the steaks. Spread half of the honey on the steaks, and sprinkle with half of the pepper and garlic powder. Let marinate, covered with plastic wrap, for at least two hours, in the refrigerator. After at least two hours, turn the steaks over, and spread the rest of the honey, pepper and garlic, on the steaks. Return steaks to the refrigerator, over night or at least another two hours. Grill over a very hot charcoal fire for at least five minutes, on each side, depending on how you like your steak. After you turn the steaks, salt them to taste. Let them rest for ten minutes before cutting.
