The Nuns Too Deserve a Treat
Little screams out summer has arrived, especially in places with inclement weather, than stopping by for a chilly treat, in this case, Ted Drewes Frozen Custard, in Missouri. As everyone went about ordering their custard, a group of nuns arrived, bringing with them at least a few novices, maybe not to the Order, though they did appear to be dressed a bit differently, but most assuredly to Drewes, as the older Sister’s gingerly explained what was available and how they enjoyed their custard. Yes, the superfluity of nuns did make me take a second look and yes, I did get a bit more excited about my custard, seeing their excitement to order, but it was the woman to the right, whose reaction made me snap this picture – she literally could not stop staring at the poor sisters who just wanted to enjoy a small treat, with the rest of us.
