Welcome to Our Village!

For its 31st birthday we have added a true train station, a real alpine lodge, and a full fledge Santa’s Village!  As I always say, the Village is never the same, but the rules always apply – you need to find a place to live and a place to work!

Once again, Kate has created this lovely video and added a sound track featuring music from the Nutcracker, by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, in honor of having taken Christine, to see the ballet this year.

We, at That Is All For Now, wish you a very Merry Christmas!

The colorful...

In general I am not an envious person, but I do so wish I could write something as beautiful as this story. I love this story. When I first read it, I identified with Buddy; now I feel a bit more empathy with the elder woman, time does have its ways. I miss being...

Chenille     As winter sweeps through New England, my thoughts are on warmer weather and nature’s vibrance.  Though not exactly a Christmas plant, this beautiful Chenille is certainly dressed for the holiday! I love this plant; and just because it is easy to grow, rather it is that flower!  Though a native of...

Happy Hanukkah! “We light these lights for the miracles and the wonders, for the redemption and the battles that you made for our forefathers, in those days at this season, through your holy priests. During all eight days of Hanukkah these lights are sacred, and we are not permitted to make ordinary use of...

MTTD Four Years Today, in the cybersecurity community, we understand that it is not if you will be breached, but when you will be breached. When I heard that Starwood guest reservation database had been breached, I was not surprised. I was not surprised, not because we are accustomed to hearing about our personal...

President George Herbert Walker Bush   I have been to every presidential library in this nation, but I have only been thanked once, for my visit. I am truly saddened to learn of the passing of President George Hebert Walker Bush; may God give comfort and peace to his family and friends, and those...
